All the varieties of table grapes are available for the vine-grower both as grafted vines and as not grafted vines. In fact recently it’s more common the tendency to use not grafted vines especially in stony, well drained, sandy soils, calcareous and not calcareous. Rootstocks of the BerlandieniXRiparia family as the selections Koberr 5BB, SO4, 157/11, are very used for deep, fresh, fruitful soils and those of the family BerlandieniXRiparia like the selections 775P., 779P., 140 Ru., more suitable to exploit stony, dry and poor soils.
